Country Ramble and Garden Tour

We are inviting you to the La Pêche garden tour on Sunday July 23rd from 9h30 am to 3h00 pm.  You can  buy your tickets (20$) the same day at the Wakefield Community Center from 9h30 am to 12h.  You’ll receive a map and relevant information to visit seven beautiful gardens, enjoy Ikebana demonstrations by Christiane Ryan, our pottery studio and the Franktown House Flowers open house.  Then, from 2h to 4h tea and refresments will be served while  Lindy Ranger, Wakefield’s expert in gardening, will be there to answer your questions.

All proceeds goes to the Friends of the Wakefield Library and to the Wakefield Community Center.

Tournée champêtre et visite de jardins

Nous vous invitons à visiter les jardins de la  région de La Pêche, le dimanche 23 juillet de 9h30 à 15h.  Vous pouvez acheter vos billets ($20) le matin même au Centre Communautaire de Wakefield de 9h30 à midi.  On vous remettra une carte ainsi que l’information nécessaire pour visiter sept très beaux jardins, assister à une démonstration d’Ikebana par Christiane Ryan, notre studio de poterie et participer aux portes ouvertes des Fleurs Franktown House.  Ensuite, de 14 h à 16 h, venez savourer une tasse de thé ou un breuvage et rencontrer madame Lindy Ranger qui se fera un plaisir de répondre à toutes vos questions concernant le jardinage.

Tous les profits seront remis aux Amis de la Bibliothèque de Wakefield et au Centre communautaire de Wakefield.
